IDC 4O- Sports and Entertainment Marketing
Students will apply the principles and processes of inquiry and research to effectively use a business plan to organize an entrepreneurial event, to analyze and research the elements and impact of travel/tourism on an event, to use a range of print, electronic, and mass media resources in marketing campaigns, to research case studies in sports, drama and other events; and to investigate real-life situations and career opportunities in interdisciplinary endeavors. While applying effective project management techniques within the practical component to managing events within the school, they will also assess their own cognitive and effective strategies, apply general skills in both familiar and new contexts, and communicate new knowledge.
